Wynell Willis passed away on July 19, 2024 in Huntsville, TX. She was born in Westville, TX on June 3, 1936. She was preceded in death by her Parents Oscar Delee and Girtrue Thompson; Loving Husband Leroy Willis and Brother-In-Law Joe Linn. She is survived by her Daughters Lena and Edward Coleman, Linda and Gene Inkpen; Grand Daughters Kelley and Jon Baca and Christina and Ryan Hoagland; Brothers Marvilee (Lee) and Ellen Thompson, David and Sue Thompson, Donald and Linda Thompson, Kenneth and Beverly Thompson; Sisters Mary Lou and Tom Price and Carolyn Linn; Sister-In-Law Joy Mae Willis and Great Grand Kids Kinsley and Levi Baca.

Wynell left Creekside Retirement Home with the notable title of Longest Term Resident of Creekside after residing there for 10 years.

A memorial service is being held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00am at Heritage Oak Funeral Home in Huntsville, TX with Chaplin Marty Ballesteros officiating. Visitation prior to the service will be held from 10am-11:00am on Saturday, July 27, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation to Shriners Children's Texas in her name.
