Ryder James Chick of Rusk, Texas, passed away January 1, 2025 in Jacksonville Texas at the age of 3 months 8 days . He was born September 24, 2024 in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Despite his short time here on earth he was so loved. He could light up any and every room with his big smile, little giggle and even his mean mugs. He loved to cuddle, listen to music, to have people sing to him, go for long drives, and go hunting with his parents. Ryder was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Rusk, Texas.

He leaves behind his mother Krissy Burns (Bell), father Robert Micheal Chick, Pop-pop and Sugar, Samuel and Holly Bell; Mimi Anita Chick along with his great grandparents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Samuel Bell, Jr., Wesley Bell, Kwan Adams, Byron Johnson, Justin Mayo, Austen Lindsay and Steve Stokes.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa Robert Chick and many other family members.

There will be a visitation Friday, January 10, 2025 beginning at 1:00pm at Heritage Oak Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Dodge Cemetery.
