Roderick "Rod" Jabe Lucas

On the morning of January 9, 2024 Rod passed away as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident in Riverside Harbor. He was 53 years old.

Rod was born in Bellaire, Texas, a suburb of Houston on April 14, 1970. He was the second son of Diana and Lloyd Lucas.

His many friends and extended family enjoyed excursions on the river, and telling great stories around the campfire. Rod loved adventure. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and auto mechanic.  He loved restoring and tinkering with his old Ford Broncos, his prized possessions.

We will hold close the cherished memories of Rod. The joy he brought to all who loved him will remain in our hearts forever.

Rod is survived by his children Jabe, Georgia and Wyatt who were the light of his life, his mother Diana, his brother Kevin, and many loving relatives and friends.
