Robbie Neal Floyd was born August 13, 1933 and raised in Snyder, Tx to Ennis and Annie Bell Floyd He was the oldest of 3 children. Doris (Floyd) Beard and Davie Floyd.

Robbie was very popular in Snyder.  He was active in school, sports and church.  After graduating from Snyder High School he attended Abilene Christian College.  He transferred to Texas Tech and earned a BBA in Industrial Management Economics in 1955 while active in ROTC.  After graduation, Robbie and Pat were wed on September 4, 1955 and were married for 68 years.  Robbie immediately entered the US Army serving from 1955-1959.  Robbie served his country both domestically and in Vietnam.  Robbie and Pat were blessed with 2 daughters, Robin Lynn and Kathryn Ann. Robbie was active in his oilfield jobs and church throughout his career eventually owning and operating his own chemical company in Snyder, AccuChem.  Robbie retired and they moved to Huntsville in 2011.

Robbie was preceded in death  by Pat, December 20, 2023; his mother and father, and sister, Doris Beard of Snyder, TX.  He is survived by his brother Davey of Mesquite, TX; daughter, Robin and her husband Jim Williamson;  their children, Nolan and Lindsay Williamson and their granddaughter Zoe, all of Huntsville, TX; Katie and Jordan Lockette and grandchildren Rosemary and Josiah of Dallas, TX; daughter Kathy and Greg Pollard of Sachse, TX and their children, Jason and Sara Pollard; their grandchildren, Phoebe and Jackson of Ft. Worth, TX, Parker and Emily Pollard, and Payton Pollard of Albuquerque, NM.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 1pm at Mayes Addition of Oakwood Cemetery.
