Raymond M. Neuse passed away quietly with his loving family by his side on November 30th, 2022 at age 79. He was born in Mexia, Texas on September 7th, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond A and Annie Neuse and his first wife Stella. He is survived by his loving wife Debra Neuse, his children Chris and his wife Heather, Kasey and her husband Roland, Brian and his wife Amber, and John and his wife Sharidan, Plus his brothers Dan and Mike Neuse. He was also proud of his 11 grandchildren, Kira, Lucas, Connor, Lauryn, Camryn, Anzley, Kinzley, Brooks, Maddox, Truett, and Corie. He graduated from Mexia High School and received his master's degree from Sam Houston State University. He was proud to serve in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1968-1969 where he was wounded and was honored to receive the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was also proud of his 30 years of service to the Texas Department of Corrections.
