Pamela
Abrams
Aug 25, 1949 — Mar 16, 2025
Huntsville
Pamela Sue Abrams was born in Pasadena August 25, 1949, sadly, she passed away March 16, 2025. Pam was an incredible educator for over 30 years teaching First and Third grades in Kingwood & Midland school districts. Teaching was her passion, and she received many accolades as well as Teacher of The Year numerous times throughout her phenomenal career. Always the most requested teacher, as the students & parents knew she lived her life with love, kindness and compassion in and out of the classroom. Her desire to shape new minds gave her the gratitude and joy in her heart.
Pam also had a love for the piano. While attending Sam Houston State University for her Teachers Education she was enrolled in the classical music program. Her children and grandchildren inherited the love, passion and extraordinary talent for music.
She was a devoted Mother always there to offer support & guidance and losing her has left a mark that won't be forgotten. She taught us to look a little deeper into Nature and the wisdom and unconditional love of animals. We will forever cherish her memories, keeping her with us always.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis & Lucille Shelton. She is survived in death by her husband Glenn Abrams, her brother Travis Shelton (Debbie), daughter Julie Wooderson (Tommy), son Kyle Abrams (Jenifer), two grandchildren Dillon Hoke (Jennifer), Lauren Hoke Wooderson (Jamarcous) and two great grandchildren, Kodee & Kolbee Hoke. A devastating loss, she will be deeply missed.
At Pam's request, there will be a private service held.
