Mike, age 71, died December 8, 2023 in Huntsville, Texas. He was born December 9, 1951 in Hurst, Texas. Mike was a "jack of all trades" but thoroughly enjoyed his work with Homeland Properties as a realtor.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Walter Curtis Wood and LaVerne Milligan Wood; step-father Calvin Hinds; sister Sherri and brother Terry.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy; daughters, Haylee Lemon (Travis) and Julee Nava (Richard); and five grandchildren, Tatum, Teige, and Tinnerson Lemon and Giselle & Natalie Nava.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 15 at 10AM at Heritage Oak Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 11AM with Rev. Reagan Cooksey officiating.
