Maureen "Mo" (Chalmers) Thompson passed away on September 18, 2023 at the age of 57, at home in peace in Huntsville, TX. She was born to Barbara and Wesley Chalmers (who proceeded her in death) in Stockton, California and attended the University of the Pacific.

Her true passion was swimming both in competition and coaching at UC Santa Cruz. Mo was an avid swimmer that competed in the Junior Olympics, swam the 25 mile open water from Monterey to Santa Cruz CA, participated in the Maui Ironman 3 times and swam in the Annual Alcatraz swim 22 times, just to name a few of her many swimming accomplishments.

Mo is survived by her Husband James (Jim) Thompson, Son Carl (CJ) Chalmers and Sister Kathleen Berns. Mo's Brothers, Gordon Chalmers and Robert Chalmers proceeded her in death. Maureen S. (Chalmers) Thompson will be interred at the Houston National cemetery.
