Lynette Sandel Vogt, age 71 years of Huntsville, Texas, passed away on July 6, 2026 at home.

Born on March 20, 1955 in Houston, Texas, the first born child of Linnie Rayford Sandel and Lou Ann Parrish Sandel.

Lynette was known for her unwavering faith, her love of learning, and God's creation. Throughout her life, she taught elementary school for the Huntsville Independent School District. Outside of work, she loved to travel and camp.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Raymond Lee Vogt, daughters Lamanda Vogt and Melody Pittman (Kindale). Grandchildren Caleb Smith, Sydney Nipps, Kaylee and Avery Pittman. Sisters Diane Sandel and Rae Ann Blount (Jeff). Parents Linnie Rayford and Lou Ann Parrish Sandel. Nieces Cheryl Moreland (Tim) and Amy Garrow (Matt). Great nephews Austin and Mason Garrow.

She was preceded in death by precious grandson Andrew Pittman, grandparents Linnie Porter and Julia Cotton Sandel; Wyte Elisha and Annie Eaves Parrish.

A visitation will be held at Heritage Oak Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will be Friday, July 10, 2026 at 10:00am at Heritage Oak Funeral Home with a reception to follow.
