LaNelle King Faulkner of Huntsville, Texas, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2025. She was born September 27, 1932 in Henderson, Texas to Ira King and Vera Vinson King.

She married E. H. (Buddy) Faulkner on October 22, 1949. They settled in Huntsville in 1962. They were married 70 years before his death in 2019. To this union three children were born.

LaNelle retired from the Walker County Justice of the Peace-Precinct 1 office after 20 years of service.

She is survived by her children, Dianna Holbrook, Kay Coey, and Richard Faulkner (Mary Ann). She is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. LaNelle was predeceased by her parents, husband Buddy, brothers Horace King and Gorman King and son-in-law Steve Holbrook.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason Holbrook, Reed Holbrook, Jared Holbrook, Robby Coey, Lane Coey, and Will Larrison. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Holbrook, Nate Holbrook, Rowdy Coey, Jennifer Coey, Randall Byrd, Kelly Faulkner Byrd, Juli Faulkner Larrison, JoLynn Larrison, Marti Kaye Larrison, Kylie Kramer, Kirbie Kramer, Kinslie Kramer, and Cooper Kramer.

Visitation will be held at noon on Friday, October 17th at Heritage Oak Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1:00 with Reagan Cooksey officiating. Burial will follow at the Mayes Addition to Oakwood Cemetery.
