LaJuana Floyd Wooderson, 82, of Huntsville was called to Heaven on Thursday, November 3rd surrounded by her family and loved ones.

LaJuana was born April 8th, 1940 to John T. and Esther Lee Floyd in Kerens, Texas. She married the love of her life, Glynn Adair Wooderson in 1956. They shared a beautiful marriage together in Huntsville, Texas for almost 60 years.

She served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ faithfully and was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Huntsville. A doting mother and homemaker, LaJuana was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family, especially during the holidays. Known as "Granny" to most, she was the happiest when spending time with her family and friends. She loved to experience the joys of life traveling, and had many talents including painting, playing the piano, and sewing.

LaJuana was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, two brothers John Burnett and William (Bill) Floyd, and two sons Archie Dale and Robert Glynn (Bobby) Wooderson. She is survived by her son Tommy Wooderson and wife Julie, daughter Glyna Stevenson and B.J. Sikes, grandchildren Linden Wooderson and husband Luke Sims, Robyn Wooderson Carpenter and husband Tyler, Rachel Stevenson Price and husband Taylor, Dillon Hoke and wife Jennifer, Lauren Hoke Wooderson, and four great grandchildren, Kennedy and Grant Carpenter, Kodee and Kolbee Hoke, and numerous nieces and nephews. LaJuana was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind the most beautiful memories.

A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, November 10th, 2022 at 2:00pm at Heritage Oak Funeral Home located at 1080 Interstate 45 South in Huntsville, Texas.
