Our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend, Kelly Robinson met our Heavenly Father at the pearly gates on October 18, 2024. Kelly passed peacefully at home surrounded in prayer by her family and closest friends. She was born to Sandy (Brown) Nichols on January 1, 1969 in Houston, Tx. She is preceded in death by great-grandmother Sarah Waller along with her grandfather Leon Brown. She is survived by her grandmother Iris Brown, her Mother Sandy Nichols, her sister Kasey Nichols, daughter and son in law Cheyenne Robinson Dane and Derek Dane, son Chandler Robinson and her first grandchild Brooks Reid McCaffety-Robinson, along with many more close friends and family.

Kelly grew up in Pearland, Tx and attended J. Frank Dobie High School in Pasadena, Tx. She danced from the young age of 3 years old and carried that through her high school years. Upon graduation, Kelly attended Dental Assisting School at San Jacinto College in Houston. Her career was something she was proud of and enjoyed for 30 years. The last few years she spent working at Conroe Family Dentistry. It was no secret she loved her work family and the good work they did together. Kelly fell in love with the slow-paced, small town lifestyle feeling that Huntsville gave her after spending countless weekends here with her grandparents in West Sandy. In 1993, she moved to Huntsville, calling it home for the next 31 years where she made many friends, memories, and raised her children alongside their father Gary Robinson.

Kelly has always had a flair for fashion, hair and makeup. She left a whole lot of sparkle everywhere she went- from her unique outfits to her big blonde hair and pink lipstick. However, she could throw on a pair of boots and shear sheep with the best of them. Kelly was happiest in the show barn. She spent many years traveling the state of Texas hauling sheep for her children to show through 4H and FFA. She was the biggest cheerleader even if you weren't hers - she was in your corner and made sure you had those feet squared off before the judge came by. Kelly made sure Cheyenne and Chandler knew the meaning of responsibility and hard work. She taught them to love big even if it's messy, to not let the little things distract you from the things that mean the most, and to always overdress.

Kelly's battle with cancer began in 2019. She has been in remission for the last 5 years. In September of 2024, Kelly found out her cancer had returned. We didn't expect things to move as quickly as they did. Her medical team worked fast and diligently and we are eternally grateful for the last days we had with her. Our hearts are shattered but Kelly accepted Christ into her life as a young child and continued to live a life trusting in our Lord and Savior. She believed only true peace and healing could be found in the grace and mercy of God. Her last days in her earthly body were spent with beautiful sunsets and once in a lifetime friends and family holding her hands as she danced her way into heaven. We are so grateful we got to share her with so many wonderful people. She will be dearly missed by all of us. We look forward to the day we will meet her again and rejoice with the Lord.

Psalm 13: 5-6 But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 22 from 5pm-7pm at Heritage Oak Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 23 at 10am at Second Huntsville Church. Interment will immediately follow at Farris Cemetery. Lunch will be provided following the graveside service at West Sandy Community Association - The Old School House.
