James Allen Brooks passed away peacefully in his home in Huntsville, TX at the age of 75 on January 15, 2024. James was born to Irie and Mildred Brooks on April 24, 1948 in Roswell, New Mexico.

James is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Brooks.

A celebration of James' life will be held at a later date.
