Lilly Gail Severin,  passed away July 19, 2024 at the age of 73. She was born August 27, 1950 at Texas City Hospital in Texas City, Texas to Paul and Johnnie Mae Sumrall.

She was raised in LaMarque, Texas but also lived in Houston,Texas for a time, Onalaska, Texas from 1997 to 2018 and then Huntsville, Texas from 2018 to 2024.

She graduated from La Marque High School in 1968 and continued her education at Navarro Jr. College and Sam Houston State University. She worked for many years in the legal field as a paralegal and legal secretary.

Gail loved to fly and was granted her pilot's license in 1978. She loved and was devoted to her family and friends, always going out of her way for them and giving beyond measure. She also loved her country, but not her government. She loved singing karaoke and singing in the choir, the Beatles and country music.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Walter Severin, her parents and by her brothers John Sumrall and Mark Sumrall.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Philip Vaughn and his wife Brenda, her sister Jillana Helms and many cousins and nephews.

She will be missed by many but never forgotten.
