Jean Jeter, lovingly known as Grandma, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 30, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her family.

Eula Jean Jeter was born on September 1, 1942, in Pasadena, Texas to Andrew and Eula Mae Adams Langley. The family moved to Oakhurst, Texas where she was raised. She met the love of her life and at the tender age of 15 she married Tommy Gene Jeter on December 21, 1957. She spent the next 68 years building a family that was always fed with love & food!

Jean worked off and on over the years to help support her family but eventually landed at TDC in 1983 where she worked until her retirement.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Eula Langley; her daughter, Dewanna Jeter; her grandson, Gatlin Jeter and brother-in-law, Jerry Bob Baxter.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Tommy Jeter; her sons, Glen Jeter & wife Jonna Gayle and Jammie Jeter & wife Kim.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Garrett Jeter and wife Jessica, Corey Jeter and wife Ena, Gavin Jeter and wife Shelbey, Caley Gressett and husband Luke and Gage Jeter; and her great-grandchildren, Cailyn Barton, Case Jeter, Sofia Jeter, Raiden Jeter, Easton Gressett, Haven Jeter and Jameson Jeter.

Jean is further survived by her sister, Barbara Baxter and her sons, Jerry Lee Baxter & wife Angela and Jim Bob Baxter & wife Ta Rai as well as her great nieces and nephews.
