Eric Francis Snell, aged 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2024, in Houston, Texas. He was born on August 23, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to Gene and Janet Snell. Eric grew up a proud resident of Katy, Texas along with his 4 brothers and attended James E. Taylor High School where he was an active athlete.

Although he was a man of many trades, there is no doubt that painting and carpentry was what he was most passionate about. His favorite hobby (and where you could find him happiest) was fishing with his brothers or his family on a jetty or a pier. Along with being an avid fisherman, he had a special love for animals of all kinds.  Eric was a friend of many, loved as if he was family by all. He was known for his sharp appearance, quick wit and his mischievous laugh. Although, the most memorable part of him was that if you stuck around long enough, he never let you forget that "Jesus loved you" or reminded you to always remember that "Jesus lived in your heart". Eric endured many trails in his life but one thing always remained, and that was his love for the Lord.

He is survived by his previous wife, Sandra. His three children, Ryan Snell and spouse Katy, Celeste Snell and Nicholas Snell. His three Grandchildren, Weston, Noah and Everleigh Snell.  By brothers, Kurt Snell and Sister-in-Law Deana, Jon Snell and Sister-in-Law Brenda, Jay Snell and Sister-in-Law Robyn; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins that he loved dearly. .

He is preceded in death by his Father, Gene W. Snell, Mother, Janet H. Snell, Brother, Kris Snell, and several close friends.
