Deborah was born April 6, 1962 in Huntsville, TX to the late Alvin "Boley"
McGowan and Rosa Douglas McGowan. She graduated from Huntsville High
School in 1980. After graduation she continued her education at DeVry University,
Galveston College and College Of The Mainland.
Deborah worked at Sam Houston State university in the Dietary Department
before moving to Houston. Her loving and giving spirit were shared by many
friends. She was a great cook and provided many meals to her community. She
prayed with and for many people as well.

Her memories will continue to shine in the hearts of her daughter Ebony
McGowan her mother Rosa McGowan and her sister Faye McGowan along with
many family members and friends.

Deborah will now join her father: Alvin "Boley" McGowan; sister Yvette Marie
McGowan; grandparents: (m) John (Bud) and Ocie Lee Douglas, (p) Frank
McGowan and Oletha York Kelly and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends
preceding her in death.
