Anna Nell Schultz Cook (86) was born on October 15, 1936, in Charleston, Texas to Logan and Bessie Schultz. She passed away surrounded by her family on April 7, 2023 and is now singing and rejoicing in the loving arms of Jesus. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Weldon Schultz and Kenneth Schultz.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Alton Cook, who loved her dearly, her Sisters-in-Law Ruth Schultz and Gerry Schultz, and brother-in-law Lee Cook. She is also survived by her children Karen Cook Jackson of Manassas, VA; Cheryl Cook Turner and husband Mike of Austin TX; Alton Cook Jr. and wife Sasan of Katy, TX; Lisa Cook and wife Trudi Foncree of Arlington TX. Anna's large loving family also included her grandchildren Brian Jackson and partner Karyn Lord, Andy Jackson, Anna Jackson-Reid and husband Jason, Kristen Pope and husband Brian, Scott Turner and partner Erin Reynolds. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Anna was always seen with a smile on her face and a song in her heart. She was humble and kind and she never had a negative thing to say. She was colorful and vibrant and just a little bit sassy. Her face would light up in the presence of her family and friends. She loved to get hugs and kisses from the little ones. Anna was an active member of Second Baptist church in Huntsville for over 40 years. She was the Queen of her local chapter of the Red Hat Society. She loved going on adventures with family and friends whether it was lunch down the street, on a cruise or a road trip across the country.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Oak Funeral Home, 1080 I45 South, Huntsville, TX 77340, Wednesday April 12, 2023 from 4pm-6pm.

Services will be held Thursday April 13, 2023 at Second Baptist Church, 2517 Sam Houston Ave, Huntsville TX at 2:00pm. Light refreshments and fellowship will follow.
