Our beloved Andrea "Sue" Nordberg (85) passed from this life into eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 7, 2026, after a short battle with cancer.

Sue was born on March 14, 1941, in Baytown, Texas to Mattie Maudell Hudson and Andrew Marvin Hudson. As a single mother, she exemplified the love of the Lord—always helpful, full of joy, compassionate, wise, and forgiving. She worked at various jobs throughout her life, but her most important role was raising her beloved children, including a set of triplets and a set of twins.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Her most fervent prayer was that all her loved ones would come to know Jesus as their Savior and follow Him.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Casey, and her sister Ann.

She is survived by her children: Todd Nordberg (Patti), Jennifer Nordberg Wilson (Scott), Wade Nordberg (Erica), and Chad Nordberg (Allison); and her brother, Bud Hudson (Diane). Sue also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who love her deeply.

A special thank you to her lifelong friend, Nell West, for her support during the last several months.

Service will be held at First Baptist Church, New Waverly, Texas on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 11am.

She will be buried in Pasadena, Texas with her parents.
